Who’s honest? Who’s lying? Who knows? Not me, not after the last guy. Does Amazon have a lie detector that fits in a clutch purse? How am I supposed to trust anyone when I can’t even trust myself?

He broke my heart.

What’s worse, I let him. I believed his lies. My instincts, once my North Star, failed me.
